Is your practice innovative?

Consider your proposed Natspec Innovation Awards submission against these six questions to decide if it is ‘innovative’.

Do you think your practice goes beyond what a specialist college might reasonably be expected to do?	Yes / No
Is your practice quite different from anything you have seen or heard about in other specialist colleges?	Yes / No
Do you think your practice will inspire/excite others in the sector?	Yes / No
Do you think others in the sector will be surprised by your approach?	Yes / No
Do you think others in the sector will be impressed by the impact of your approach?	Yes / No
Is there a ‘buzz’ amongst those involved in the practice about what you are doing/achieving?	Yes / No

The more times you answer “Yes”, the more likely it is that your practice is innovative!
